I can’t believe how time goes by so fast. It seems like yesterday I was taking Zoey’s 5 month old photos for her Mom and just the other weekend sweet Zoey turned one! Happy Birthday Zoebug,
Thanks to my friend Steph over at S. Rinehart Photography for snapping this pic of me over the weekend. Finally a good image of me for my website!
Hi there! After a fabulous trip on the West Coast, I’m back at home! Just wanted to say a quick hello to everyone! Here’s one of the last shots of our trip taken in Malibu – I’ll be posting the rest very soon.
Last weekend I had the pleasure to assist my dear friend, Natalie, of All Buttoned-Up with a wedding. The ceremony took place at the picturesque Grandale Farm in Purceville, VA. It couldn’t have been a more perfect day in September . . . the sun was shining and there was a slight breeze in the air. When the guests were shuttled in from Landsdowne Resort, they witnessed how the rustic farm was transformed into whimsical fairyland, full of details. The bride herself put so much thought into her special day, all the way down to making sure her parents were seated on a special tablecloth, which belonged to her grandmother. There was so much love in the air as the guests dined on local food, sipped vodka lemonade out of mason jars, and danced the night away under the stars. Enjoy some details from their special day!
The centerpieces were made of a variety of flowers set in antique jars, teacups and bottles. They rested on vintage books and were topped with painted birdhouses.
Natalie transformed the ceiling with twinkling lights, paper flower garland and paper chandeliers.
Each place setting had it’s own vintage napkin.

Dancin’ shoes for the guests.
Take a seat on the straw couches!
The guestbook was made up of pages and pages of tiny envelopes where guests could slip little notes of wisdom.
It was such a beautiful day!
Congrats to Anabeth & Tim and fabulous job Natalie!
Well friends, all my hard work and chaotic life has finally come to and end. The big project I’ve been working on over the past few months is getting two collections together for my stationery line and setting up a booth at a Bridal Show! I was a little nervous at first, but I’m so happy I did it. I met some lovely brides and some fabulous vendors – I can’t wait to work with them in the future!
Here are a few ‘behind the scenes’ shots of my photo shoot with Jess and Justin. Enjoy!
Hi friends! I hope you had a fantastic weekend. I finally finished editing Jess + Justin’s Engagement photos! Here are a few of my favorites:
Hi friends! Here’s a sneak peek of Jess & Justin’s engagement shoot I photographed. More to come, but enjoy these for now!
Hot off the press…here’s baby Luke’s birth announcement! Enjoy!
By now you all probably know my love for anything design or photography related. My college degree is in graphic design and I even took a few years of photography in college. Well, after spending many months getting to know my new camera, I finally decided to take a stab at my first photo shoot. By no means am I even close to a professional, but I didn’t think these images turned out so bad for an amateur. But hey, with a model like this beautiful baby girl, I guess they couldn’t have turned out too bad.
