Home Sweet Home
What can I say? I’m in love with Charlotte, NC. The best way I can describe that city is that it has that small town feeling mixed with city life. There were so many cool art galleries, coffee shops (Smelly Cat, haha) cool bars (Ri Ra had a roof top deck that looked over the city), restaurants, boutiques, vintage stores and so much more. The weekend flew by and I can’t wait to plan another trip down south . . . . next time stopping in Charleston too.

What an awesome weekend! Friday, I met with friends of mine, Bryan & Kristin, to begin designing their “save-the-date” cards for their upcoming May wedding. Below are some examples I am using for inspiration. Then, Friday evening, my dear friend Arielle got engaged too! I am so excited!!

Get Inspired!
Being creative is the most important part of being a designer. Where do you look for inspiration? I find myself flipping through magazines, making notes for ideas (and by “notes” I mean a million post-its). Sometimes just taking a stroll through Anthropologie triggers the creative process. Lately though, I have found some wonderful inspiration in blogs. Here are a few great ones!

I have to say, I’m pretty excited about this. I’ve wanted to do a blog for a long time now. Hours of my free time is spent reading and searching through different blogs and websites for design inspiration. I have quite a collection of goodies I’d love to share. Enjoy!
