Happy Halloween!
I know it’s not Friday yet, but I’m taking off the rest of the week to be productive! Tonight: working on some self-promotion, putting away 87 loads of laundry, wrapping up a few things for some clients, making Bob & I’s Halloween costume, hanging out with some girlfriends, packing to go out of town….what a jam packed night!
So, on that note, have a Happy Halloween and a great weekend!
New Logo? For me?
For those of you who are a graphic designer – you probably have the same problem I do. Which is, the person you design for absolutely last is yourself. In midst of everything that’s going on I threw this little number together last what. What do you think? I think the colors need to be switched up a little, but at least its a start!
Etsy Love: Ice Cream Social
The next couple of weeks are going to be pretty crazy for me. Designing for three weddings, an event planning business, a birthday party, my regular clients, running an Etsy store . . . the list goes on an on. I can’t complain though – this is what I love to do. I’m especially dying to show you an itsy, bitsy peak to Jessie & Chris’ Save the Date . . . but I can’t. She might kill me.
Anyway, I did want to share an adorable Etsy shop, Ice Cream Social. Visit their blog too!

Sweet Treats
This weekend I didn’t do much, except for a lot of cooking and eating. Huge brunch on Sunday, pumpkin cookies on Saturday, Apple pie on Friday. The cookies were amazing though. Here is the recipie.
Pumpkin Cookies
2 1/2 cups of flour
1 teaspoon of baking soda
1 teaspoon of baking powder
1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon of nutmeg
1/2 teaspoon of salt
1 1/2 cups of sugar
1 can of pumpkin pie filling
1 egg
1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
In medium bowl, combine flour, baking powder and soda, salt, cinnamon and nutmeg; set aside. With mixer cream butter and sugar in large bowl. Add pumpkin, egg and vanilla; beat until light and creamy. Add dry ingredients; mix well. Drop by rounded tablespoon onto greased cookie sheets. Smooth tops of cookies. Bake in preheated 350 degree oven for 15 to 18 minutes, or until light brown. Cool on wire rack. Yum.
